Salt, the aggressor in the opening stand, played a whirlwind knock of 45 runs, peppered with boundaries. While he fell shortly after, the foundation had already been laid for a comfortable chase. Skipper Shreyas Iyer and Nitish Rana ensured there were no hiccups, guiding KKR home with 21 balls to spare.
