TAFCOP
WHAT is TAFCOP Portal?
The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) launched the TAFCOP Portal in 2023 to empower Indian telecom consumers. Through this portal, users can check how many SIM cards are active under their name and promptly deactivate any unauthorized numbers to prevent fraud.
Instances of individuals obtaining SIM cards using false Aadhaar card information have prompted the launch of this portal by the Department of Telecommunications.
